We had to borrow the code off Ben to make it not be able to touch the walls because it's much harder than we thought.
What am I going to work on next week?
We are going to find some costumes for the ghost and make them go for Pac-Alex but not go through the walls

Geometry - Week 4 Maths Sample
During Maths week (week 4), we have been focussing on Geometry. We had a choice of 10 different Geometry based activities. We needed to select 5 different activities and provide evidence when completed.
What I enjoyed about this maths week was:
That we got to choose what we wanted to try instead of having set tasks to do because I only did the ones that I thought sounded a bit fun.
What challenged me during this week:
That some of the stations were very crouded on the first day so I couldn't really go to them.
My next step in Geometry is:
Attempting some of the harder sheets and challenging myself so that I learn more.

Why are you proud if it?
Because I put quite a lot of detail into planning my paragraphs so actually writing it won't be that hard.

WEEK 3 REFLECTION
What did I achieve this week during Passion Project time?
I got three descriptions of the machines that I don't think people would know about and I am doing one for each slide.
What challenges did I have?
They kept on coming up with videos of the thing rather than the facts about what it is.
What am I going to work on next week?
I am going to try to get some more things and if I think people wouldn't know what it is straight away then I will add info about them and I might do some backgrounds.

What did I achieve this week during Passion Project time?
I have found all the machines on other websites so I am sure that they are real and I have stated to add photos of some of my favourite ones to the slides.

What am I going to work on next week?
Getting all the photos in and getting the functions of the machines so that people know what it does so they won't think of it doing the wrong thing because of how it looks.

WEEK 5 REFLECTION
What did I achieve this week during Passion Project time?
I learn't how to add in areas of land so that I can make a certain scene like a village or a desert so it seems more natural rather than a flat world.
What challenges did I have?
that it was very hard to tell what you are adding in because it only gives you one way view so it is difficult to see the full terrain you are adding.
What am I going to work on next week?
I am going to try to make the things more in time so that it seems more clear and to not use as much text because each one has a different line and if you have too many it gets really confusing.

What did I achieve this week during Passion Project time?
I created a one second animation of an iron golem walking.
What challenges did I have?

What am I going to work on next week?
Adding a background and possibly doing two characters and learn how to change the default text to something else and make the moving more in time.
I don't know how to get the animation off the software so I cannot add any evidence.

Japanese puffer fish writing
Japanese Puffer Fish
The Japanese Puffer Fish is found on the ocean floor around Japan. It does some amazing things to be noticed.
Shiny scales layering the Puffer Fish's skin makes it camouflaged on the ocean floor. His scales dully shine as if they are shells reflecting light back up from the ocean floor. Even though he works 168 hours a week he appears to always be happy with his mouth in an adorable grin. It also has small fins that makes it look particularly as if it could fly.
Gliding through the sand ploughing the Puffer Fish sculpts his design. This extraordinary animal works for one hundred and sixty eight hours straight without any rest. The pattern this amazing fish creates is a beautiful design.
The reasons that the male Japanese Puffer Fish creates his design is to attract a mate and to claim his territory so that no one will fool the females that they made it.
In summary I think that the Puffer Fish is one of the best animal artists in the world.

Why are you proud if it?
Because it required me to do 8x8x8x8x8 which is very annoying with long multiplication because it takes a long time.

TERM 1 PASSION PROJECT REFLECTION
How did you go with your passion project this term? Did you succeed or not?
I did succeed because I found a website with tonnes of information on it and we got 7 slides from it so that is the main reson that we succeeded with our passion project this term.
What were the skills/reasons that helped you succeed?
Being able to write google searches in different wordings because it was only on the 4th try that I found it.
What are the specific skills that you learnt during your passion project?
I didn't learn any skills because it was a passion project just about learning information on rockets not actually to learn a skill.
What are you most proud of with your passion project?
The presentation because I think that it came out really well.

GEOMETRY - TRANSFORMATION - PORTFOLIO SAMPLE
TERM 1 2018
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
LEVEL 2
- represent reflections, translations, and rotations by creating and describing patterns
- represent and describe the symmetries of a shape
LEVEL 3
- represent and describe the results of reflection, rotation, and translation on shapes or patterns
SYMMETRY
Explain what you now know about symmetry. Try and use mathematical words to explain.
Symmetry is if you can basically cut a shape in half and it will be the opposite on one side from the other.
ROTATION/REFLECTION/TRANSLATION
Explain what you know about rotation…
Rotation means to spin the shape around a certain amount of degrees.
Explain what you know about reflection….
Reflection Means to draw a line and for it to be the opposite on the other side of the line.
Explain what you know about translation….
Translation means to slide the same shape a certain distance up, down, to the right or to the left.
TESSELLATIONS
Explain what a tessellation is…
A repeating pattern that goes on for a long time exp tiles.
REFLECTION
What are you most proud of with you geometry learning this term?
Nothing because I learnt this in year 3 so it is really easy for me.
Why?
Because this was like year 3 again for me.
What was the most challenging with our geometry learning?
The tessellations.
Why?
Because I hadn’t learnt it before but it was still very easy.
